In accordance with Article 903.6; all states contiguous to Zone 2 will count for points - Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Vermont and West Virginia.
 
Adult Amateur Hunter
To be shown by riders who are no longer eligible to compete as Junior Exhibitors, in possession of current USA Equestrian Amateur Certification. Ponies may be shown by Adults, suitability to count. Fences not to exceed 3'; spreads not to exceed fence height. Riders may not compete in any other classes at the same competition where fences exceed 3'3", except Adult Amateur Jumper. Horses may be shown by a different rider in any other division or class at the same competition. Horses may be jogged for soundness at the discretion of the judge. The maximum number of classes which may be offered in a section is 4 if held on one day, or 5 if held on more than one day, including the under saddle.

Children's Hunter
To be shown by Junior Exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday as of December 1 of the current show year. Height of fences 3' for horses; small and medium ponies to jump 2'; large ponies 2'6"; spreads not to exceed fence heights. If entries warrant, the division may be split at the discretion of show management. Riders may cross enter only in unrated classes and any equitation classes. Horses and ponies may cross enter only in unrated classes, Equitation, Adult Amateur Hunters, First Year Green Hunter and Second Year Green Hunter if otherwise eligible. Horses and ponies may be jogged at the discretion of the judge. The maximum number of classes which may be offered in a section is 4 if held on one day, or 5 if held on more than one day, including the under saddle.

Children's/Adult Amateur Hunter Classic
Any competition which offers an Adult Amateur Hunter or a Children's Hunter section may also offer an Adult Amateur Classic and/or a Children's Hunter Classic in accordance with Article 2436, with the following exceptions; 1.)Bonus points for Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be awarded as follows: 1st - 10, 2nd - 8, 3rd - 7, 4th - 6, 5th - 5, 6th - 4, 7th - 3, 8th - 2. 2.) Classics must offer at least $500 in prize money; 3.) Height and spread of fences to be the same as the requirements for the respective section; 4.) riders are not required to wear special attire as described in Article 2436.5 but must wear protective headgear in accordance with Article 318.2 and 3; 5.) All current Zone 2 eligibility requirements must be met.

Pre-Green Hunter
A pre-green hunter is a horse of any age in it's first two consecutive years of showing, that has never shown over fences 3'6" or higher.  Pre-green horses may not be reinstated.  To be shown over fences 3' to 3'3".  Horses may not cross-enter into divisions with fences of 3'6" or higher.  To be judged on performance.  Horses not to jog. 

Pony Hunter Breeding
Open to ponies of any breeding that are suitable to become pony hunters. Classes must be offered for yearlings, two year olds, and three year olds. Classes may not be combined but may be split by sex if entries warrant. Three entries are required to fill a class. A Championship must be offered and the first place pony in each class is required to return for the championship. Second place ponies may show back in the championship class. Classes are judged on conformation, way of moving, quality, substance, soundness and suitability to become pony hunters. Ponies are to be walked and jogged before being placed in order of preference.
 
Children's Jumpers
To be ridden by exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current competition year. Course to be built according to Level 3 (Article 2708 - Class Specifications). Neither horse or rider may compete in any other class at the same competition where fences exceed 3'6" in the first round, except Preliminary Jumpers otherwise eligible with another rider and the USET Medal Class. Cash winnings do not influence this classification. Sections and/or prize money, if offered, may be divided and/or combined with the Adult Amateur Jumpers at the discretion of management.

Adult Amateur Jumpers
To be ridden by exhibitors who are no longer eligible to compete as Junior Exhibitors. All exhibitors must be Amateurs in accordance with Article 808 and must show USA Equestrian Amateur Certification. Course to be built according to Level 3 (Article 2708 - Class Specifications). Neither horse or rider may compete in any other class at the same competition where fences exceed 3'6" in the first round, except Preliminary Jumpers otherwise eligible with another rider and the USET Medal Class. Cash winnings do not influence this classification. Sections and/or prize money, if offered, may be divided and/or combined with the Children's Jumpers at the discretion of management.
